Glitch Allow ‘Super Mario Maker’ Players To Center Big Enemies On One Tile

Gamers submitted more than one million Super Mario Maker courses in less than one week.

"Super Mario Maker" was released in September and within just a couple of months gamers started to discover minor glitches within the game to help them create intricate puzzles. The most recent glitch allows players to place bigger enemies on a single tile and smaller enemies in between tiles.

The glitch was first discovered by Reddit user jonahhl and it shows a simple way on how to center bigger enemies in just one tile area. In order to do so, players are required to place a smaller enemy that only requires one tile. After that, they have to stack the bigger enemy on top of the smaller one and replace the smaller enemy with a fireball. Since nothing can be stacked on fireballs, it is possible to delete it and keep the bigger enemy centered on the tile, according to Geek Snack.

The same technique can be applied to smaller enemies in order to reverse the effect. By taking the same steps, smaller enemies can be placed in between tiles.

"Super Mario Maker" is a side scrolling platform used to create levels. The game was developed and published by Nintendo and released exclusively for the Wii U console. Players can create levels on the "Super Mario Maker" platform based on the following video games; "Super Mario World," "Super Mario Bros.," "Super Mario Bros. 3," and the "New Super Mario Bros. U." Completed levels can be shared online.

Upon its release, "Super Mario Maker" was received with mostly positive critical acclaim. Reviewers of the game praised its sophisticated set of level editing tools as well as its interface. Video game reviewer IGN gave it a nine out of ten score.
