The latest installment of the "Transformers" film series will open several possibilities for the franchise to grow as it was rumored that several titles will likely based on the "Prime Wars Trilogy" and that "Transformer 5" will be the starting point for whole new storyline.

New Autobots and Decepticon characters are hinted to join "Transformers 5" as Ultra Magnus, Red Alert and Overrider will be joining Optimus Prime's Autobot team, while Scourge, Blitzwing and Cyclonus are joining Galvatron's new Decepticon army, Movie News Guide reported.

Aside from the new characters, there are also speculations that "Transformers 5" might be divided into a two-part film as the first part will be centered on Cade Yaeger (Mark Wahlberg) and the Autobots that are living on Earth, while the second part will feature Optimus Prime's quest in confronting his creators, who are rumored to be to be the Quintessons, while other fans believed that planet destroying robot god Unicron will be the Transformer's creator and possibly the main villain of the film.

Film and TV writer Akiva Goldman told IGN that the interaction between humans and Transformers will be good thing in "Transformers 5" seeing as part 1 of the film will explore more Yaeger's relationship with the Autobots now that they have been re-forge once again during the events of "Transformers: Age of Extinction". Goldman added that both relationships are the key into making the "Transformers" franchise interesting and it is something that should not be squandered off lightly.

"Transformers" director Michael Bay will be back to helm the fifth installment as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles" star Megan Fox has been hinted to return to the film franchise and other rumored cast members may include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Bruce Willis.

"Transformers 5" movie is scheduled to be release in cinemas on 2017.
