"Infinity Blade," one of the popular video game titles for the iOS, is reportedly being developed with Kinect capabilities for the Xbox One that was recently launched in China.
According to Chinese video gaming forum and news portal A9VG.com, "Infinity Blade" developer Tencent will be bringing the iPhone graphics benchmarking title to the Xbox One in China.
Tencent, also working on Monster Hunter Online, put up a teaser website saying that more information will be revealed this Friday, which is coincidentally the opening day of the firm's Game Carnival in Shanghai.
The teasers from Tencent show people playing and smashing furniture, but do not mention the "Infinity Blade" title or even the Xbox One. However, the teaser images give the impression that it might be a motion control game. AVG9.com reports that it is "Infinity Blade," and it will be utilizing the Kinect on the Chinese Xbox One.
The "Infinity Blade" series was made by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games using the widely used Unreal Engine. Tencent has 40-percent shares in Epic Games.
The video game title was initially released in Dec. 2010 and is exclusive to Apple's iPhone and iPad line of devices. According to recent data, the "Infinity Blade" series has been downloaded more than 50 million times on the iOS devices.
The game is also considered as the first iOS video game to utilize the popular Unreal Engine, which spawned a lot of PC and console games during its 16 years such as the "Bioshock" and "Splinter Cell" series.
