Wedding Photo With Photoshopped Son

Last April eight-year-old-boy Lake Bozman became an honorary Atlanta Hawk player, which provided him with a one-day contract and an NBA basketball jersey. Weeks later Lake lost his fight with leukemia cancer. His mother Anna Bozman-Thompson posted a family wedding photograph after recently marrying her long-time boyfriend. The Facebook photoshopped photo that pays tribute to her dead son has gone viral throughout the United States.

Lake suffered from acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It is a cancer that involves the fast growth of certain white blood cells.

The snapshot's wedding photographer Brandy Angel informed Bozman-Thompson that during the photo shoot a light kept showing up beside the family. Its shape and color never changed. The mother then replied that she knew Lake would show up, according to KAGS.

Bozman-Thompson had asked Angel to include Lake in the photograph. Thus, she photoshopped him into the wedding photo as a ghost-like image.

The picture of Lake that Angel used was taken in September 2014. Bozman-Thompson's original plan was to photoshop Lake into the family Christmas photo, but that changed when the wedding was scheduled earlier, according to Today.

In her Facebook post Bozman-Thompson claimed that she felt Lake's presence during the photo shoot. It was an "unbearable" experience because he was not present when the family pictures were taken.

Lake's mother was anxious and vexed about the photographer capturing the photo, but she was pleased about the professional quality of the images, and realized she needed to take the photoshopped image with Lake. He is still part of her family.
