"Attack on Titan" from Koemi Tecmo and Omega Force will look and feel like the anime adaptation, complete with tactical attacks, destructible environments and a similar character animation.

Koei Tecmo's latest game, "Attack on Titan," has more playable characters joining the roster of Titan-slashing fighters. Familiar faces from those in the manga and anime have finally made the cut, with some favorites featured in new screenshots.

Among the new playable characters are Reiner Braun, Bertolt Hoover and Annie Leonhart. The three characters were known for their secret identities as titans in the manga. Also joining the game are Krista Lenz and Ymir, which are two ladies who are part of the 104thTrainees Squad.

The new characters as well as new gameplay scenes were confirmed in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, a Japanese magazine, DualShockers reported. The screenshots also included some scenes featuring non-playable characters and screens showing what are presumably the background and information of the characters.

Some of the screenshots also show the same training to kill Titans as seen in the anime as well as actual action scenes showing off the protagonists facing against Titans. It appears that the way the characters act and fight against the Titans also apply in the gameplay of "Attack on Titan." The 3D Maneuver Gear, which is used to propel the characters in strategic points to better kill Titans, will also run out of gas. Even the blades will reportedly become dull with repeated use, as seen in the anime and manga story.

Currently, the developer is offering a Treasure Pack for "Attack on Titan" in Japan. It is a limited edition bundle that hardcore fans of the "Shingeki no Kyojin" franchise can opt to buy. There is still the standard edition of the game, Gematsu reported.

The Treasure Pack includes the official soundtrack, a scarf, two sets of tin badges for Eren, Mikasa and Levi, an Official Investigation Record Collection and exclusive costumes, which can be obtained via download codes.

"Attack on Titan" will come to the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The release date for Japan is already slated for winter, though Koei Tecmo has yet to confirm when specifically it will come out in North America and Europe next year.
