"The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed is no longer feuding about having kids sometime in the future.

According to Inquisitr, the couple is now fighting over the possibility of Nina Dobrev returning to "The Vampire Diaries" next season.

The publication noted that "TVD" star Paul Wesley even tried to help silence reports that Dobrev will reprise her role as Elena Gilbert next season.

In an interview with TV Insider, the Polish actor said that although Dobrev is missed on the set of the hit The CW series, they are all aware that she will no longer be back.

Dobrev has also said time and time again that she doesn't have plans to return to the show because "that ship has already sailed."

However, Reed can't help but feel worried especially after knowing that Michael Trevino returned to reprise his role as Tyler Lockwood.

Meanwhile, October didn't mark so well for both Somerhalder and Reed. Throughout the past couple of weeks, there were reports about Somerhalder asking his wife to give up her role on "Sleepy Hollow."

At that time, an insider claimed that Somerhalder is not happy with Reed doing sex scenes on the show because he wants her to accept more motherly roles.

Unfortunately, Reed is taking her role very seriously so she didn't listen to what her husband had to say.

"Nikki is ambitious and worries about derailing her career if she gets pregnant now," the insider said.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 airs Thursdays on The CW.
