NFL 2015 Season: Chicago Bears vs San Diego Chargers, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Nov 05, 2015 11:11 PM EST

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers (#17).

The Chicago Bears (2-5) are struggling to find any momentum in their game this season, losing again in Week 8 after a bye week. They will face an equally struggling team in the San Diego Chargers (2-6), who are on a four-game slide, at the Qualcomm Stadium for a Monday Night Football matchup.

Chicago dropped a close 23-20 contest against the Minnesota Vikings at their home stadium of Soldier Field last Sunday, as per Yahoo Sports.

Vikings placekicker Blair Walsh converted the winning field goal of the game to bury the Bears on a two-game losing skid. Chicago had previously beaten Minnesota seven straight times at home, which is why this was a heartbreaking one for John Fox's boys.

Meanwhile, the Chargers could not find a win in four weeks of competitions. Their last match was also an upsetting three-point loss to lowly Baltimore Ravens, 29-26, at the M&T Bank Stadium on November 1st, via ESPN.

Same with Chicago, it was also a come-from-behind effort and a last minute field goal from their opponent that defeated San Diego.

Playing at home after an extra day of rest on Monday, Philip Rivers and the Chargers will use that advantage to extend the Bears' losing streak to three games.

Prediction: Chargers win, 21-17.
