"Dance Moms" alum Chloe Lukasiak recently landed her first movie gig but it seems like not everyone is happy with her achievement. Fans of Maddie Ziegler are reportedly surprised that she got a lead role in the movie almost the same time that their idol did.
According to Realty Today, fans of Lukasiak could not help but defend her after fans of Ziegler bashed the dancer. Although many were happy that Lukasiak and Ziegler are both doing well in their careers, some cannot help but compare the two against each other.
Ziegler has always been vocal about wanting to be a movie star. She previously shared that landing a guest role on "Pretty Little Liars" was one of the best days of her life. It has even been rumored that she was thinking of leaving "Dance Moms" to pursue a career in acting.
Fans of Ziegler supported the reality star all the way and even praised her acting skills, which she first showcased on Sia's "Chandelier." They pointed out that unlike Lukasiak's debut in "Center Stage: Dance Camp", Ziegler's first movie, "The Book of Henry" is a "real one" and not just a low budget production.
In other news, TIME recently revealed that Ziegler is part of its annual list of the 30 Most Influential Teenagers. Some fans of Lukasiak took to Twitter and wondered why she was not included. Some even pointed out that she had "more class" than Ziegler, speculating that the latter was just included because she had more influence than her.
