John Boyega has revealed his favorite scene from the "Star Wars" saga.
Boyega is set to play the role of Finn in J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens." In his interview with CNET, the actor said that his favorite scene among the "Star Wars" films was the scene where Han Solo and Luke Skywalker had gone to rescue Princess Leia and they were in the control room.
According to Boyega, there was a moment where Solo was talking into the intercom. After a little exchange with a Stormtrooper, he shot the intercom. For Boyega, he loved that instance, since it was hilarious and funny.
Boyega's Finn is a pivotal role in Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," according to Cinema Blend. A former stormtrooper from the new incarnation of the Galactic Empire, the First Order, Finn meets Rey, who is played by Daisy Ridley. They set a magnificent journey from that point.
Meanwhile, Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." It stars an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Boyega and Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Hamill, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, among others.
Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" hits theaters on Dec. 18 while Gareth Edwards's "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" premieres on Dec. 16, 2016. Meanwhile, Johnson's "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 26, 2017 while Colin Trevorrow's "Star Wars: Episode IX" premieres in 2019.
