Batman and Superman fight in Zack Snyder's “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Director Zack Snyder has revealed Batman's edge over Superman in his forthcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

In his interview with Total Film (via Indiewire), Snyder said that the advantage that Batman had was the goodness of Superman. He added that with the acquiescence to play fair exhibited by Superman, the Dark Knight knew how to exploit the Man of Steel.

Henry Cavill previously told with Cinema Blend that Superman's moral code inspired the character in decision making; however, his virtues could sometimes disarray his thoughts, particularly when he found himself fighting someone with no special abilities.

On the other hand, Batman is eager to fight dirty and by any means in order to him to emerge victorious. In fact, Bruce Wayne said in the film trailer that Superman had the power to wipe out the entire humanity, so they had to destroy him.

Snyder's idea is at par with the thoughts of astrophysicist Neil deGrasse. The latter previously told Tech Insider, Tyson said that Batman could defeat Superman, since it was about who one wanted to work with him, which he referred to as a "different" and a "more subtle" matter. However, fans are yet to see in the film up to what extent Batman would do things to take down Superman.

Directed by Snyder, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will lead to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. Aside from Cavill, the film also stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.

Snyder's iis slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
