As the post-apocalyptic RPG recently returned, Bethesda has released the new Pip-Boy app that makes a "real" Pip-Boy on user's smartphone. It is a free app, and is available for iOS and Android systems.

As users download the app and run it on the tablet or smartphone, they will have an animation, a Pip-Boy from the game, that have the character's acquired perks, stats, maps, and more.

All the graphics are made to be similar to the "Fallout" style, in this case, the UI was made using the classic green on black theme, also, including a sample minigame.

The functionality of the app does not change even if users have one of the limited edition Pip-boy wrist accessories or the plastic Pip-Boy replica, Android Police reported.

After starting the app, it lets users pick between the full screen mode or the hardware mode.

The hardware mode is used to let the users resize the display area, and that allows the users to fit in the Pip Boy harness of the limited edition.

The app doesn't allow much features presently, as users cannot connect to the game. However, there is a demo mode which allows the users to have basic experience of the game.

The "Fallout 4 Pip-Boy" app is available for android and for iOS. Many fans are glad that the release gap between iOS and android were not as long as the ones occurred with "Fallout Shelter", Engadget reported.

The app is free, unlike the expensive game. It offers an enjoyable second-screen adventure. Thus, for fans who really like the "Fallout" Saga, it is a great experience
