Evernote recently release an update for its iOS app. The update will allow users to sketch right within a note. While this feature is already available on the Android platform since 2014, iOS users have been demanding this feature to be added to the Apple version of the app.

The new Evernote update will also support Split-screen which makes it easier to take notes and sketch for those who uses the Apple iPad. The split-screen support is available for users of iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro. The split-screen feature can be activated by simply swiping from the side of the device.

Apple iOS users can now use the new sketch feature in order to draw in an already opened note. The app also enables support for the new Pencil for iPad Pro users. On the other hand, users can still draw and sketch using third-party stylus accessories that are available for the iPad and iPhone.

The new 3D Touch feature of the iPhone also allows users to adjust their line weight depending on what they are trying to create.

According to Tech Times, all sketches will sync across all types of devices. This goes for all devices running on the Android operating system. All sketches will still be editable.

The update was announced on the official Evernote Blog and it reads, "The note is a super flexible creation and collection space. Today we're expanding that functionality on iPhone and iPad to include one of our most-requested features: sketching inside the note."
