There are rumors that Android Marshmallow rollout will soon start for Sony Xperia Z1, Z2, Z3, Z3 Plus, Z4, and Z5.
Tech giant Sony is rumored to start the roll out for Android Marshmallow for a selected list of Sony Xperia devices. According to GSM Arena, the list includes the devices Sony Xperia C4 Ultra, Z4 Tablet , M4 Aqua, M5, Z2 Tablet, Z2, Z3 Tablet Compact, Z3 Compact, Z3, Z3 Plus, C4, Z5 Premium, Z5 Compact, Z Ultra GPE and Z5.
The company is yet to announce the specific time frame of the roll of this upgrade for these devices. It is expected to start before the end of this year.
It was revealed on the Sony Blog earlier this month that Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and Sony Xperia Z3 are getting the Android Marshmallow concept build. This is nothing but a test build which is only available for a particular set of users. This certainly points towards the fact that Sony is testing the Android Marshmallow update, meaning that it will be rolled out soon.
It is rumored that a Stamina Mode will be incorporated in the Sony's tweaked version of the Android Marshmallow update. This mode will help to improve the battery life of the devices exponentially.
It is of course an exclusive feature and a Sony patent, which will destroy the background activities in order to enhance the battery life of the device.
Now, the Android Marshmallow update already comes with an enhancement for the battery backup of the device. The addition of the Stamina Mode will make the battery of the Sony devices extremely powerful.
