The fifth iteration in the "Halo" franchise has brought the total revenue of the series to over $5 billion, $400 million of which comes from "Guardian's" first week on the shelves, according to Tech Times.

For about 21 million hours of gameplay experienced so far on "Halo 5: Guardians," the development team at 343 Industries acknowledges they have got some "new stuff" to be released "in just over a week."

Halo's official website pointed out that the stuffs that are coming out include bigger Big Team Battles comprising the classic 8 vs. 8 battles, some new maps in Arena matchmaking created by 343 Industries team and the Halo 5 community, a new REQs, and several new vehicles to add to the mix.

The new maps come inspired by classic battlegrounds like Standoff, Burial Mounds, and Longbow among others. The battlegrounds were created by the Halo community's top Forgers including The Fated Fire, Warholic, Nokyard, The Psycho Duck, and Ducain23.

With regard to the next REQs and vehicles, 343 Industries unveiled a partially completed graphic that reportedly will be filling up over the next week. The November sneak peek shows the Tracer Armor Set, Green Machine, Tundra Scorpion, and Flaming Horns.

Furthermore, game's lead designer and engineer, Chris Kong and Scott Sims talked about controller patches and the new aiming system for the game. According to them, there is a fix coming for the "slow turn" bug some gamers have been experiencing on their controllers.

The development team pointed out that although a small number of gamers may find their new aiming system "a shade harder than it used to be," most players are coping well.
