"19 Kids and Counting" Jessa Duggar-Seewald recently gave birth to her first child.
However, just one day later, the former reality TV star was rushed to the hospital due to some complications.
According to the Daily Mail, Duggar-Seewald and Ben's first child was quite big for a newborn baby. This is why the TLC star had a difficult time with her delivery.
It was revealed that Jessa's mom Michelle called 911 after she found that her daughter was bleeding profusely.
"Mother is bleeding after birth. We need her to be checked out. There was quite a bit of blood when the placenta detached, but uterus is hard now. We're massaging her uterus. Hang in there," Michelle's recorded voice call noted.
A few hours later, Michelle confirmed that her daughter is doing well, and there's nothing to worry about.
Meanwhile, Jessa, Ben and their healthy baby boy Quincy already shared a family photo on their official website.
In one of the photos, Michelle and Jim Bob could be seen carrying their newborn grandchild individually.
Other photos featured Jessa and Ben carrying the adorable bundle of joy.
Jessa's brother-in-law shared Quincy's photo via his Instagram account and wrote, "Congrats to Jessa and Ben on the birth of their baby boy! Y'all are great parents already! May you raise this little guy in the love and admonition of our Lord."
In other news, even before Jessa gave birth to her son, the "Counting On" star already knew that he is going to be a huge baby. After all, both Jessa and Ben were also huge when they were born.
