Although both their reps confirmed that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were in a relationship last week, now Gwen Stefani is laughing about it and saying they are not in a relationship, yet. She says they are dating but that they are not in a relationship and that she does not like to put labels on anything.
According to E! Online on Nov. 10, Stefani did an interview with Frankie from the "Frankie and Geena Morning Show," the LA based 93.3 FM radio show and said that she doesn't know who said it but someone said it and they are not in a relationship. It doesn't matter that her own rep confirmed it and she had to have been the one who told her rep to confirm their relationship. So why is Gwen denying it now? Maybe it has something to do with wanting privacy or maybe she doesn't want to get too far ahead in anything yet.
Meanwhile, according to People, Stefani says her newest album coming out in 2016 is definitely a break-up album. She says that when she broke up with an old boyfriend in the past, she made a break-up album about that relationship ending too. She had this to say about her new single, "Used to Love You."
I didn't even know the single was coming out. I promise you that is was very last minute. It's weird because "Used to Love You" came out the exact same week as the 20-year anniversary of "No Doubt's" "Tragic Kingdom," which just to me is like 'What are the chances of that?'
She says that the theme of both albums were break-up albums. According to Gwen, she has only had two boyfriends, and she married one and was with him for almost 20 years before they divorced in August. She thinks it is her journey to go through this stuff and to write these songs about the stuff she goes through to help other people.
