| Nov 12, 2015 03:25 AM EST

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (#12) calls a play in the line of scrimmage against the Washington Redskins.

A high-profile matchup between the undefeated New England Patriots (8-0) and fan-favorite New York Giants (5-4) will take place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford this Sunday, November 15th as the 2015 NFL season goes forward.

The Patriots defeated the Washington Redskins, 27-10, at the Gillette Stadium on November 5th to extend their unbeaten start to the season to eight games, as per USA Today.

New England zoomed to a 14-0 start in the first quarter and never looked back on the way to the blowout home victory against Jay Gruden and his crew.

Meanwhile, the Giants romped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 32-18, at the Raymond James Stadium also on November 5th after a big fourth quarter push by quarterback Eli Manning as this year's top pick Jameis Winston and tried to claw their way back in the final period, via NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk.

New York was able to finish their opponents this time, bouncing back from the sorry loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

The Patriots are expected to win this marquee encounter with Tom Brady and his outstanding offensive crew.

Prediction: Patriots win, 35-28.
