Microsoft has released a laptop with removable keyboard, which seems to compete with that of the 2-in-1 laptop and tablet device of Lenovo – the Lenovo Yoga 900.

Microsoft has released a laptop with removable keyboard, which seems to compete with that of the 2-in-1 laptop and tablet device of Lenovo - the Lenovo Yoga 900. Here is the comparison of specs and features of the two to provide an insight of what Lenovo Yoga 900 and Microsoft Book has to offer.

Lenovo 900 replaces the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro and comes at a reasonable price of $1199. Unlike its earlier version, Yoga 900 is 2mm thick and measures around 14.9mm. With built in aluminum steel body, Yoga 900 Pro is available in three different colors: orange, gold and silver that weighs around 1.3kg.

On the hardware side, Yoga 900 is built using Intel Core i7 processor with expandable memory storage of up to 16 GB. With an aspect ratio of 16:9, Lenovo Yoga 900 Pro has only 1MP front camera and powered by 4 cell battery.

Meanwhile, when used as a laptop, Surface Book weighs around 1.51kg. The keyboard slot has its own battery that is made of magnesium alloy. The Microsoft Surface Book has a resolution of 3000x2000 with a pixel density of 267ppi. Coming to the hardware aspect, Microsoft Surface Book is available in two different processors: Intel core Skylake dual core and Intel i7 processor.

Microsoft Surface Book's, which has a Random Access Memory capacity of 16 GB RAM, external storage can be increased up to 1Tb depending on the configuration. Surface Book also offers 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It has a Dolby audio system along with microphones on both sides that offers playback up to 12 hours.
