UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title for the third time this year when she battles No. 1 contender Holly Holm at UFC 193 on Nov. 14 in Melbourne, Australia.
Rousey will try to fend off another challenger to his title belt, but this time, "Rowdy" admitted the fight "will definitely be longer" than her three previous bouts, according to ESPN.
Rousey's last three fights against Bethe Correia, Cat Zingano, and Alexis Davis only lasted for a combined total of 64 seconds. Her fasters was against Zingano at UFC 184, which only took her 14 seconds to win the fight.
"Rowdy" is also expected to prove her boxing skills against Holm, a former boxer.
According to Rousey's trainer Edward Tarverdyan, the undefeated champ has "knockout punching power in both hands" and would be ready to take on Holm by showing her boxing moves.
However, Rousey (12-0) admitted Holm would be her biggest challenge ever despite being the massive favorite to win the bout in Melbourne's Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Holm, being the underdog that she is heading into UFC 193, said she does not mind being the underdog for her title bout against Rousey, reports Yahoo Sports.
Holm, who is convinced that she is the first one to deal Rousey a loss, added that the odds have nothing to do with how she will perform in the Octagon.
Odds Shark have Rousey a -2000 over Holm, who is a +1000. The outcome of the match is predicted to be a fast win for Rousey no later than the 1st round via submission. Rousey has intended to display her boxing skills, but her signature arm bar would finish Holm off.
Rousey's dominance is the world of MMA is unparalleled and not even the likes of Holm could stop her from creating a legacy.
