The challenge for the four finalists of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22 episode 14 titled "The Guy Who was a Momma's Boy" was to shoot a mock cover for Nylon magazine. It was "Switched at Birth" actor and deaf model Nyle DiMarco who emerged as the challenge winner for the week.

Yu Tsai met the DiMarco, Mikey Heverly, Lacey Rogers and Mame Adjei accompanied by Nylon magazine editor-in-chief Michelle Lee and creative director J. Errico. The the final four "ANTM" cycle 22 contestants shot for the magazine were put on a newsstand.

Encouraged to let their own personality show for the photo shoot, Heverly went loose and curly, Rogers went prissy and safe and Adjei went with a black dress covered in awkward huge white cameos. On the other hand, DiMarco used his deafness as the theme of this concept as he usually does.

DiMarco wanted to project the message of being heard despite being deaf. Among the four concepts for the mock cover of Nylon magazine, it was the concept of the "Switched at Birth" actor that Lee and Errico loved.

Passers-by on the street evaluated the mock covers to determined the winner of the challenge, who will be included in a video for Nylon magazine. The passers-by were asked which Nylon cover makes them want to buy the magazine.

At first, Adjei was worried because nobody was voting for her mock cover because of her wardrobe choice. She ended up having three votes while Heverly and Rogers had four votes each. DiMarco got five votes, winning the challenge.
