Donald Trump has tied up with golfer Tiger Woods to design an 18-hole golf course at the "Trump World Golf Club" in Dubai. The speculated golf course would be set in Akoya Oxygen, which is 55 million square-foot in area. The initial preparations have already started and the speculated date of opening for the golf course is in the next three years, 2017-end to be precise.

The news was confirmed in a statement by Donald Trump, in which he stated that he feels that Tiger Woods would be an important asset in designing and developing the golf course at the Trump World Golf Club in Dubai. This Trump-Woods partnership is very unique, because Tiger Woods is new at the designing game and his designing company didn't have a very spectacular start, whereas on the other hand, Donald Trump is well known for his world-class golf courses.

In 2009, Tiger Woods designed golf course - "Tiger Woods Dubai" was to be his launching pad into the design domain, but unfortunately the project needed to be shelved as the real-estate market was in doldrums. Later, 'Cliffs at High Carolina' were supposed to make Woods' US debut, but that project is currently on hold. However, now Woods' is planning to make his debut as a designer with the 'El Cardonal', which is located in Los Cabos, Mexico in the next few months. He is also in the process of re-designing a golf course - Blue Jack National, Houston, which is expected to open its gate to the public in the fall of next year.

Hopefully, "Trump World Golf Club" in Dubai would reinforce Tiger Woods' reputation as a golf-course designer and undo the rocky start that his design company has suffered in the last few years.
