"Super Smash Bros. 4" has become more interesting with the addition of "Capcom" character, Mega Man and "Street Fighter's" Ryu. The developer company, Nintendo, recently secured its biggest coup with the news of "Final Fantasy VII's" Cloud Strife featuring in the game before the end of the year.
The news was revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct event, according to IGN. Avid fans as well received news that they will be receiving further details about "Super Smash Bros. 4" in December. It is expected that the details will include information about their favorite characters to feature in the DLC for the brawler game.
It is unlike Nintendo tradition to have characters from other game universes or consoles to crossover. The character addition is also a huge boon to players who are very excited to play the popular characters in a very different arena.
Cloud Strife is just the latest character to be included in the game. A recent list of fan voted characters revealed Dixie Kong from Donkey Kong Country, King K. Rool, Golden Sun's Isaac, Splatoon's Inklings, and Metroid's Ridley, Event Hubs reported. The developer company, Nintendo, as well had a green light from Microsoft to incorporate Banjo-Kazooie among the DLC characters.
Furthermore, Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man have been incorporated in "Super Smash Bros. 4." With the "Fighter Ballot" in place, players would definitely add more characters.
Director Masahiro Sakurai and his development team generated the ballot idea to giver gamers a chance to decide which fighters to be included in the game and the only criteria in place is that the nominated character has to be from a video game.
While there are no definite dates set for Cloud Strife to arrive in "Super Smash Bros. 4," a DLC along with other news are expected to surface next month.
