"She's very funny - I'm excited for people to see how funny she is," he said.
Greenfield added that they sometimes could not keep a straight face whenever she delivers her line.

When asked about the possibility of Fox being a series regular, following Deschanel's return, Greenfield sai that he "certainly would not mind it."
Although Greenfield and Deschanel had nothing but praises for Fox, many fans were not happy with the new addition to the "New Girl" cast come season 5.
According to Crossmap, many fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment with the casting choice. It was said that the network made a "huge mistake" by asking Fox to take Deschanel's place.
The outlet reported that show creator Liz Meriwether knew that it was a big risk to film several episodes of the series without Deschanel. The writers, however, remained optimistic about Fox's character. It was also said that they will be using this time to shift the focus of the story to the other cast members like Schmidt, Cece (Hannah Simone) and Winston (Lamorne Morris).
"New Girl" season 5 premieres on Jan. 5.
