Brazil captain and Barcelona winger Neymar.

Roman Abramovich, team owner of the reigning Premier League champions Chelsea, had recently expressed his desire to sign Brazilian superstar and Barcelona standout Neymar at all costs this January or next summer amidst the club's current struggles this season.

The Blues are reportedly one of four giant clubs who are interested in snagging Neymar out of Spain soonest as the 23-year-old winger continues to endure an alleged tax evasion case that is forcing him out of the Nou Camp and La Liga altogether.

Metro indicated that Manchester United, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain were all said to be keen on landing the services of the Seleção captain as soon as possible to help the mentioned sides boost their bids of claiming their own domestic titles.

The 49-year-old Abramovich, a Saratov, Russia native, is reportedly "hoping to spend big to improve his club's situation" as they are now slowly becoming the laughing stock of the English top flight after gaining only 11 points in 12 games so far in the season.

Instead of the Blues defending their crown, their season has become a fight to evade relegation and manager Jose Mourinho's trouble with his players and the referees had also been more pronounced this year.

Bleacher Report noted that Neymar's father confirmed a potential move away from La Liga soon as his son might want to have enough of the issues he is facing in Spain.

The report also noted that another key factor to the Brazilian's possible transfer is his current contract extension talks with Barça, which seems to be headed nowhere as rumors that he wanted a bigger pay swirled around online in the summer.
