'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Premiere On Feb. 15 On AMC, Packed With Exciting Twists, Turns

The second season of "Breaking Bad" spin-off "Better Call Saul" is set to premiere on Feb. 15, 2016 on AMC.

The show runner of the show Peter Gould told Headlines and Global News, that there will be a lot of surprising twists and turns in the upcoming season. The protagonist of the show, Jimmy McGill will visit places which were never seen in the show before.

Emmy nominee Jonathan Banks plays the character of Mike Ehrmantraut in "Better Call Saul" will be pulled deeper into the dark plot of the show.

Bob Odenkirk will also return in the second season of this prequel series with his character of the slimy lawyer. He will be faced with numerous options and it would be up to him to decide whether or not to go legit in the corporate world, according to TV Line.

The only official thing about the "Better Call Saul" Season 2 is the announcement of the premiere date. Besides that, there are a number of rumors circulating about the show.

The first season of "Better Call Saul" was successful even though critics were wary of the fact that it may not work for the viewers as "Breaking Bad" was a ten pointer show.

However, instead of just being sidelined, "Better Call Saul" season 1 impressed everyone with seven Primetime Emmy nominations, along with a TCA Award for Outstanding New Program, and the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor award wins in the Critics' Choice Television Award. Odenkirk and Banks respectively won these awards.
