After the release of the first image for Marvel's "Agent Carter" Season 2 this week, the first promo for the upcoming season of the series has been released online.
Running for 30 seconds, the Marvel's "Agent Carter" Season 2 promo started off with "Lights. Camera. Carter." The promo revealed that Carter, America's top agent, is heading to Hollywood. The clip also indicated that the series is going to promise fans a blend of action, comedy, and romance.
According to Coming Soon, Marvel's "Agent Carter" Season 2, which is set to be filled with intrigue and adventure, follows the titular secret agent Peggy Carter from the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR). In response to new atomic age threats of World War II, Carter must fly from New York City to Los Angeles for her most perilous task yet.
The exact reason behind Carter's task in Los Angeles is still vague at this point, as per Hitfix. Carter is also set to meet new friends, along with a new home and possibly, a new love. In addition, the titular secret agent is set to uncover that the mask of post-war Hollywood is a huge threat to the one she is avowed to defend.
Marvel's "Agent Carter" stars Hayley Awell as Agent Carter, HJames D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thomson, and Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa.
Supporting cast for Season 2 includes Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Bridget Regan as Dottie Underwood, Reggie Austin as Dr. Jason Wilkes, Currie Graham as Calvin Chadwick. Lotte Verbeek as Ana Jarvis, Lesley Boone as Rose, Ken Marino as Joseph Manfredi, and Kurtwood Smith as Vernon Masters, among others. Wynn Everett is playing Whitney Frost, the villain of the season.
Marvel's "Agent Carter" Season 2 two-hour premiere event is slated to hit televisions on Jan. 5, 2016.
