Apple held its yearly conference recently and fans were left wondering as the event only witnessed the release of iPad Mini 4 and iPad Pro, wherein there were no mentions about the latest iPad Air 3.

This has caused confusion among gadget lovers and some even suggest that iPad Air 3 was removed from the event to highlight and gather importance to iPad Pro. According to reports by IT pro, iPad Air 3 will feature an improvised resolution of 2334*3112; however, the team has decided to retain the 9.7 inch display size. The battery size will be reduced, matching with the new iPhone models.

Also, iPad 3 will feature much more slender chassis along with a water proofing certificate. If the report posted by Latino Post is taken to account, then iPad Air 3 will be equipped with 3D display, along with 2K resolution that features A9X chipset. When it comes to camera features, iPad Air 3 will sport 13MP rear camera.

Since Apple failed to launch iPad Air 3 in their recent meeting, this led many people to believe that Apple is dropping the release of iPad Air 3 altogether; however, according to recent reports, it is pretty clear that Apple does not want iPad Air 3 to stand as a rival to its own sibling products iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4.

It is now speculated that iPad Air 3 will face its release in 2016 and will be priced around £300 for entry level models during launch.
