GTA V Franklin

GTA V voice actor Shawn Fonteno just confirmed that there is a downloadable content (DLC) in the works, according to an interview.

Fonteno, who voices Franklin in the Grand Theft Auto V video game, said in the interview that he is working on a "real big" DLC for the video game title. He said that the project was his priority to complete first.

However, no further details on what DLC Fonteno was talking about.

GTA V creator Rockstar Games said about a year ago that a DLC supplementing the story of the title will be released in 2014, but as the end of the year nears, there is still no news coming from the game developer.

Video game news site Gamespot believes Fonteno's DLC is just a cameo in the much awaited Heists mode, a multiplayer mode in GTA V wherein players can rob banks.

But, Gamespot also thinks that Fonteno could be really working on a story DLC since the Heists mode is nearly finished and will be launched early next year for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

According to Rockstar's statement a year ago, the developer has "big plans" for the continued adventure of Trevor, Franklin and Michael in GTA V, including surprise mayhem in Southern San Andreas.

GTA V was first launched in September 2013 for the last-gen consoles, with over 34 million copies sold. It was released again for the next-gen consoles in November. The PC version will be released on January 27, after a number of delays.
