Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have reportedly called off their engagement. Multiple reports suggest that the "Twilight" star's parents preferred Kristen Stewart over the "Two Weeks" singer.
According to Life & Style magazine, via Hollywood Life, Twigs and Pattinson have been constantly fighting ever since he started filming "The Lost City of Z." When Pattinson asked his fiancé to visit him on the set, Twigs said that she could not make it due to her busy schedule. The actor felt disappointed and told Twigs that she should make time for their relationship.
Insiders claim that this was the time when the singer "lost her temper" and yelled at him. The two have not spoken since. After dating for more than a year, the couple reportedly has officially broken up.
When Pattinson's parents heard about the split, they however were not at all disappointed. It was said that they even preferred Stewart over Twigs.
"They don't think she's right for Rob," the source said.
Fans had mixed reactions with the news. Some claimed that the story was not at all true and that Pattinson and Twigs are still together. Some, however, believed that it was about time that the two went their separate ways. They pointed out that Twigs was just "using" Pattinson to advance her career.
Pattinson and Twigs were last seen having a date night in 110 Bishopsgate skyscraper in London. According to People, onlookers held that they looked "very much in love" and "very comfortable with each other." The couple reportedly spent a low-key night together, enjoying food and cocktails.
