Kristen Stewart has reportedly dumped Alicia Cargile for Taylor Lautner. The "Twilight" co-stars are allegedly ready to turn their then on-screen relationship into something real.
According to Woman's Day, Stewart has recently developed "strong feelings" for Lautner. Although it has yet to be confirmed as to when they have started dating, multiple reports suggest that the rumored couple have reconnected over the past month.
Back in August, the two have been spotted getting "flirty" towards each other when she invited him to be her date at the premiere of "American Ultra." Eyewitnesses claim that they could not keep their hands off each other the entire night. It was said that they have also exchanged meaningful smiles and glances, which caused many to wonder if there is something going on between them.
When news about Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs' engagement first came out, Lautner immediately reached out to Stewart to offer comfort. According to Hollywood Life, Lautner was one of the firsts who called Stewart to ask how she was doing when she found out that her former beau is getting married.
Insiders claim that Lautner has always served as Stewart's confidante even when she was still with Pattinson. He told her that she should not "beat herself up about the past" and move on.
The outlet held that both Lautner and Stewart read about the engagement online. It was said that the actress was extremely hurt when she heard the news, saying that Pattinson did not even have the courtesy to tell her the news.
