Saban Entertainment recently confirmed that “Power Rangers” will not move to another network.

Saban Entertainment recently confirmed that "Power Rangers" will not move to another network. There have been rumors that "Power Rangers" might shift from its existing home entertainment channel Nickelodeon to another network.

However, owner of "Power Rangers" franchise has now come out with a clarification on the issue stating that there is no change in network for now and for any upcoming seasons. There were speculations that the upcoming 24th season of "Power Rangers" might be released as Netflix exclusive.

Saban clarified the report by stating that there is no accuracy on the report of "Power Rangers" TV series being telecasted in Netflix. Currently, the franchise is running on its 22nd season. It was also reported in Collider that the upcoming "Power Rangers" season 24 will be titled as "Power Rangers Shuriken" and will include 32 episodes.

On the other side, there has been news about new "Power Rangers" franchise. It is said that the upcoming movie "Saban's Power Rangers" has been wrapped. The movie will include five core rangers, namely Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Ludy Lin and Becky G. They play the following roles as Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Zack and Trini.

Dean Israelite of Project Almanac will direct "Saban's Power Rangers," wherein they vision the series to be fun yet grounded on the original "Power Rangers" series. If reports are to be believed, both Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless have completed their work with first draft of the script. Ashley and Zack are working on making the first draft perfect. According to recent reports, "Saban's Power Rangers" will be released on Jan. 13, 2017.
