The cast of "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 reportedly wants Nina Dobrev to return to the hit The CW series.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the stars of the show miss Dobrev terribly. However, they have had enough of Ian Somerhalder's diva behavior, and wants him gone.

"Nina Dobrev's friendliness was preferred over Ian Somerhalder's diva behavior on 'The Vampire Diaries' set. Nina Dobrev is missed by co-workers on TVD. Are Ian's co-stars tired of his self-important diva antics? According to reports, Somerhalder's love of the spotlight might be causing some friction, and without Dobrev's presence to keep Ian in check, it's becoming a problem," the publication noted.

Meanwhile, the publication claimed that Somerhalder recently said that he's happy that Dobrev is no longer part of the series.

The publication added that Somerhalder was quite selfish to only think of his character Damon Salvatore while everyone else was wondering whether or not the series will survive without Dobrev.

In other news, Paul Wesley said that "The Vampire Diaries" will certainly survive as long as there's team work among the cast members.

"They (Damon and Stefan) should be teaming up and fighting the negative outside forces. There's no room for them to be at odds with each other. There's just no room for either one of them to be a villain," he said.

With this, fans couldn't help but agree with what Wesley wants. Now that Dobrev is no longer around, fans want to see more of Damon and Stefan's partnership.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will return to The CW on Dec. 3.
