Rejoice Google Nexus 6 users still stuck with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which is the case for T-Mobile subscribers, as Marshmallow is all completed and will soon be deployed over the air or OTA, the U.S. telco said. As expected, the firmware release is gradual, meaning some will the update immediately while others will have to wait a bit.

T-Mobile, however, has assured on its official support that Android 6 for the Motorola-made Google 2014 flagship is ready for the big pushout. "The software has been approved to launch and is now available," the company was reported by Tech Times as saying.

The release is actually delayed as Google issued the Marshmallow factory image for the Nexus 6 in early October but T-Mobile said that in testing the mobile operating system, bugs have been detected. The telco was forced to delay the rollout to finish a fresh OS build.

More than a month after, Des Smith of T-Mobile took to Twitter and announced on November 20: "Great News. The T-Mobile Nexus6 Marshmallow SW has been approved and should start rolling out soon!"

As indicated, Nexus 6 updaters will see MRA58X as the new Android build number once their mobile devices have been updated.

As the Marshmallow deployment is OTA, Nexus 6 users will only need to wait for a pop-up prompt that will say the software is ready for download and installation. But for those who can't wait for the automatic Android 6.0 arrival, the forced update route is always available.

By pulling up the Setting menu, the manual update will start. The next step is heading to About Phone then to System Updates. In there, tapping Check Now will begin the exciting journey to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

And as promised by Google, tons of fresh and pure Android features will be served - headlined by the smart Google Now on Tap that redefines the search experience using an Android device and Doze that aims to extend battery life. Marshmallow also boasts of software refinements that users can see in many areas of the Nexus 6.

Google Nexus 6 users are advised to fire up the update over Wi-Fi and with 100% of battery juice to ensure a smooth procedure.
