‘Fallout 4’ Updates: New Patch Imminent For PC First, Then Consoles

Although the release of Bethesda's "Fallout 4" has been largely slow, the game has been greatly stable. Previous games from the developer company released with many bugs, while "Fallout 4" is fairly clean.

However, there are a few bugs found in "Fallout 4." According to Bethesda's official website, a patch is looming to help fix some of the bugs.

In a thank you note on the website, the company outlined details on how they will be updating "Fallout 4." From the note, the company will first focus on making several small patches and updates as opposed to making a single huge patch.

The roll out plans for the small patches will start with a beta patch going to some PC users. The next thing will be rolling out to all PC users before moving to PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The procedure is similar to that used by the developer company sometime back, and it reportedly works effectively.

With regard to what will be included in the patch, there is no definite information at the moment. However, it will not be a content update, instead possibly a fix to a few egregious mistakes that gamers have identified so far.

In addition, fans are yet to receive a definite release date for the patch, but Bethesda pointed out that it would be coming out sometime this week. Users should expect to receive details concerning the upcoming patch before Thursday.

The developer company as well acknowledged that "Fallout 4" has been their biggest launch ever. Critics are waiting to see whether this game will continue selling in the same way "Skyrim" did. As soon as the modding scene picks up, more copies are sure to hit the real and digital shelves, according to iDigital Times.
