"Tyrant" season 3 to be aired soon.

"Tyrant" season 3 is expected to show the rise of a character that will fill the vacuum left by the death of the show's main character in the finale episode of season 2.

"Tyrant" season 2 finale episode ended with the shoot-down scene of Jamal (Ashraf Bahrom) in full public view by his daughter-in-law Nusrat (Sibylla Deen). Barry (Adam Rayner), who spent all the season disguising as a doctor while trying to save his war-torn country, is most likely to be faced with overlooking his late bother's disastrous reign, Bustle reported.

Another "Tyrant" season 3 spoiler indicate towards the rise of Sammy (Noah Silver) who will take the control in his hands and will soon start portraying the mean streak of his late uncle. While Barry will still be in an active political role, he will become more of a puppet in the hands of his ferocious son.

Despite the not-so-impressive performance with just 1.18 million average viewers, FX recently ordered a 10-episodic run of "Tyrant" season 3 that is likely to be aired in mid-2016.

Since "Tyrant" was often cited as the network's under-appreciated show as compared to its other shows like "The Americans" or "Fargo," it was feared among the fans that the family political drama set in a fictitious Middle-East country has been shelved.

However, it is now confirmed that "Tyrant" will return with a third season. The date of its premiere is yet to be announced.

Despite the critical backlash that the series met when it made its debut, the show-runner Howard Gordon told The Hollywood Reporter that the show has been well-received within the Arab community, including the "groups of dissidents and people who were either jailed in Egypt or fled Syria or are still in Egypt."
