Multiple leaks revealed that Samsung is working on a variant of their Galaxy J1.

The device, named Galaxy J1 mini, appeared in databases of Zauba, GFXbench and Spreadtrum. The handset, having model number SM-J105F, sports the Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset with 8GB storage and 1 GB RAM, 800 x 480 4.3 inch pixel display, and quad-core 1.5GHz CPU was listed with GFXbench.

The ultra low end Samsung Galaxy J1 mini reportedly resemble to that of the Samsung J1-05F, which includes 5MP/VGA snapper as a feature of the camera set-up. This handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and according to reports, listing on Zauba also showed the device with the same model number with the exception of the display featured as 4 inch. The price was also revealed at 3,368 INR.

It was also revealed that some code, which was found on the official website of Spreadtrum, associates the Galaxy J1 mini moniker with the Samsung J1-05F. Screenshot of the codes is also available on their website. Features of this handset which resemble with Samsung J1-05F include accelerometer, Bluetooth, camera face and rear, and GPs.

Going by comments from readers, Samsung is being criticized for not incorporating enough apps for this smartphone, and that Samsung should be clearer on their low range smartphones. Although no comments were available from Samsung, multiple leaks of the Galaxy J1 smartphone have sufficient reasons to believe the facts.
