Iconic brand Kodak is back with two new products to be introduced in 2015, its first android phone ever and a new baby monitoring system.
While it was once a film and cameras giant, Kodak had a hiatus because of bankruptcy when the digital camera and the cell phone were introduced.
As part of its plan to reinvent itself, Kodak is making an attempt to conquer the field of photography once again by entering into the smart phone industry with the 2015 Kodak Android phone, which will be launched at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Kodak's first android phone heavily relies on the name and optic of the company's brand. It is still too early to tell whether or not the 2015 Kodak Android phone will manage to beat leading smartphone brands including Samsung, Motorola, HTC, LG, Google and Sony.
On the other hand, the 2015 Kodak Android phone will operate on an Android operating system. This means it will be more user-friendly and more marketable than the failed attempt by Amazon at the Fire Phone, according to American Live Wire.
Aside from the Android phone, the 2015 Kodak Baby Monitoring System will also be introduced very soon. The new product is part of the deal signed by the video monitoring technology company Seedonk Inc. with Kodak in 2013.
Seedonk Inc. senior vice president of business development and operations Ronald Pace said told USA Today that Kodak Moments are the things that are important to their customers.
