Images and specifications of Samsung Galaxy A8 were recently leaked from FCC database, where the model is now undergoing certification tests. The images have been leaked in the wake of the factor that Samsung has been keeping all their model details under wrap.

The model is found to be labeled with FCC ID A3LSCV32, while A8 model is denoted with code A3LSMA800S. However, FCC has provided the statement that the model shares similar feature as that of its predecessor and it would not be wrong to suggest that Galaxy A8 (2016) is a predecessor to its previous model.

FCC filing has suggested that Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) exhibits a dimension of 157.9mmx76.9mm, which is similar to that of 5.7 inches size of Galaxy A8. Galaxy A8 shares a battery capacity of 3050 mAh. The phone is loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop, giving rise to speculations that the model might get released sooner as Android has already released its recent operating system Marshmallow.

GFXBench Database supplied yet another update regarding the upcoming model. The update that was informed last week showed factors that the new Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) will have Exynos 7 Octa processor that is similar to that of Galaxy S6. Samsung Galaxy A8 will have an internal RAM memory of 2GB and an expandable memory of 32GB. The screen resolution size is set to 1080p, with a display size of 5.2 inch screen.

It is also found that Galaxy A8 (2016) has made an entry to Zauba database and is priced at $356; however, there are also chances that listed price might change.
