New Android Marshmallow Release Update For Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Note 4, S5, S4, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus, Note 5, Note 3 On U.S. Carriers

Many Android users of Samsung devices are thinking when they will get the latest Android Marshmallow update. Here is the new Android Marshmallow release update for Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Note 4, S5, S4, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus, Note 5 and Note 3 on U.S. Carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular.

According to a Tech Times report, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will get Android Marshmallow update in the next couple of days. Earlier reports suggested that the device will get the latest update in December 2015. However, the newly-released map has changed the Android Marshmallow update status from approved to uploading.

Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus was scheduled to be released in December of this year. However, new reports suggest that the device will get the Android Marshmallow update in January next year.  Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 will also get the new update in January 2016. Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy Note 4 will receive the Android M update in February 2016.

But Samsung Galaxy S5 will receive the update in April 2016. Unfortunately, it seems that the tech company Samsung will not roll out the Android Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.

App permissions, App links, Automatic backup and restore, Fingerprint support, Doze and Now on Tap are some of the exciting features of Android Marshmallow, Trusted Reviews reported.

Android M will support fingerprint scanners on smartphones natively. The feature will enable the scanners to be used to unlock a user's device and authorize payments using Android Pay within Play Store apps or in the offline world.
