Pokémon Z, Pokémon GO December 2015 Release Date Update: 5 New Things To Get Excited About

Zygarde appears in Terminus Cave in "Pokemon XY."

Pokémon fans will likely see their wishes come true before Christmas this December 2015 if the rumors will prove correct that the Japanese manga CoroCoro will reveal the release date details of both the Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO on the 15th of the month. And with a little more luck, both game titles will likely see the light of the day during the holiday season.

Such prospect is exciting enough but what would be more thrilling is the actual package that will unwrap. For both the Pokémon Z and GO, including the Pokémon GO Plus that will roll out with the latest titles in the franchise, there are at least five new things to look forward to and they are listed below:

Pokémon in the real world

From what have been teased so far, Pokémon GO promises to be a game-changer that will redefine the Pokémon experience. The creator of the game is betting that with augmented reality flavor or AR, fans and gamers alike will have a larger than life Pokémon experience, which Movie Pilot said is a gaming innovation that could potentially "transform our lives."

Always in-touch with the real world

And with the accompanying Pokémon GO Plus device, The Pokémon Company hopes to realize its goal of encouraging gamers to "focus on their surroundings in the real world."

"The main point of Pokémon GO Plus is to naturally let players know that something is happening," the game creator said in a statement and as reported by Vine Report, adding that the device "uses flashing LEDs and vibrations to notify the player of in-game events, such as the appearance of a nearby Pikachu."

Pokémon untold

As for the Pokémon Z, Movie Pilot is convinced that the X and Y follow up will bring in new things that fans have never seen before. One that tickles the imagination is the likelihood of introducing a new story line aside from the widespread rumor that legendary Zygarde (with ample support from Xerneas and Yveltal and likely other Pokémon legends) is the focus of the Z story flow.

Bringing forth a new Pokémon with untold story should make the upcoming game worth the while, Movie Pilot said on its report.

Expanded contents

Pokémon Z will need more than the Four Elite challenge to keep the fans playing and engaged. It should be exciting how the new title will add texture to the game beyond the Four Elite narrative that will keep gamers hooked.

Balanced gameplay

While the basic Pokémon design is kids-friendly the series also attracts a good amount of mature audience and in order to please and keep this market segment, The Pokémon Company will need to tweak the usual gameplay of the title - make it a little difficult or more challenging to strike a balance that all gamers will appreciate.

As mentioned, the CoroCoro magazine that will come out December 15 is rumored to spill out juicy details on both the Pokémon Z and GO, which likely will include the key game features and release date update.
