PlayStation VR To Include ‘Rez Infinite’; ‘Job Simulator,’ ‘Golem,’ Other Games Revealed

PlayStation VR is a virtual reality headset used for gaming.

"Rez Infinite" will be included in the upcoming virtual reality setup for the PlayStation 4 along with others such as "Job Simulator," "Golem," and "Eagle Flight," among others.

The rail shooter music video game originated from "Rez" that came out back in 2001 and was developed by Sega for Dreamcast and PS2.

Aside from bringing back the classic game to the PlayStation console, Sony noted at the PlayStation Experience 2015 that the PS VR will be having "Rez Infinite" ideally running at 120 frames per second, according to Forbes. Apart from the incredible fps rate, the game will also be having an impressive, complete 3D audio.

For gamers who would like to play the shooter game without the need for a VR setup, the regular version in the PS4 will be running at 60 fps instead, which is the standard nowadays. The display is set at 1080p while a 7.1 surround sound system is set to revive let the fans of the first "Rez" game recall the memorable electronic music utilized by the game.

Some formers members of Team Andromeda helped make "Rez" as the group focused on the stellar visuals and audio of the rail shooter game, although the script of "Rez" was only average.

While "Rez Infinite" will have a dedicated VR version, HexaDrive has actually already made a high-definition, remastered version of "Rez," which was critically acclaimed as soon as the game was released back on Jan. 30, 2008 at the Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360. The only gripe with HexaDrive's "Rez" game was that the audio was not always in sync with the attacks.

Aside from "Rez Infinite," Sony also announced several games, according to The Verge. The games include were "Eagle Flight," "Job Simulator," "Modern Zombie Taxi Co," "Golem," "100ft Robot Golf," "Ace Combat 7" and "Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin."

So far, all of the games announced by Sony at the PlayStation event do not have release dates.
