Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be revealed in 2016 and will be equipped with a faster Snapdragon 820 processor and a storage expansion space return, according to reports.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly cost around 10 percent less than its predecessors, Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, which were launched in March. With a lower price coupled with a promise of remarkable improvement in its performance, Samsung Galaxy S7 may help the Korean company with its drooping global market share. Recent sales reports have indicated that the Korean tech company has gone down by 11 percent within the past two years, IDC reported.

Analyst Patrick Moorhead of Moor Insights & Strategy recently did an interview with Computer World where he said, "Many people were angry about Samsung removing the SD card in the Galaxy S6, but I believe we will see that come back to the S line with the S7."

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S7's Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor will only run on the units sold in China and the United States. Other Samsung Galaxy S7 units will be equipped with Exynos 8890 and be sold elsewhere, basing on the leaked model numbers. According to these leaks, Snapdragon 820 chip is more reliable than the other.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to officially be introduced before the beginning of Mobile World Congress on Feb. 21. Previous reports claimed that it might happen in January 2016 to aid the company's unending competitive battle against tech giant, Apple which is also rumored to manufacture another version of iPhone.
