The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL are smartphones developed by Microsoft, officially revealed on October 6, 2015 and released on November 20, 2015.

Microsoft Windows Phone 7 revival has got the Washington-based tech company promise that its original equipment manufacturer partners' handsets receive the latest smartphone camera features around that will set new standards for smartphone photography.

Microsoft is determined to win against its competitor, Apple, which is known for taking high-end point-and-shoot photos with minimal need for tweaking of its camera settings. However, aside from the iPhone maker, there are also numerous Android smartphones that are vying for the best camera features like Samsung.

Samsung, the Korean company now determined to keep its head above the water when it comes to their handset's camera performance. With the ongoing competition, the Super HD View has become a full camera comparison standard between Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Microsoft's Lumia 950XL, WinBeta reported.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus features a 16MP sensor and has an autofocus, optical image stabilization, auto HDR, and LED flash; while the Lumia 950 XL features a 20-megapixel Carl Zeiss PrueView censor, autofocus, optical image stabilization, triple-LED RGB flash, as well as 4K video recording option. Each of the cameras is clearly more than capable, but inspecting their specs and the software that supports it could be a true test for these powerhouse smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus produces an incredibly good quality image even without flash. The Lumia 950XL, on the other hand, has a triple LED RBG flash that gives sharper images without too much noise, Windows Blog reported. When it comes to taking 4K video, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is found to perform better.
