With the recent release of "Green Lantern Corps" concept art, the film may have hinted the appearances of Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
According to the Italian website Cinefilos, a concept art of "Green Lantern Corps" was released at the Cinema Professional Days in Sorrento, Italy, which happened on Nov. 30 to Dec. 3. Featuring Green Lanterns Jordan and Stewart, the said concept art was reportedly a part of a bigger video presentation about the future releases from DC Entertainment.
Setting up DC's Cinematic Universe with both Jordan and Stewart, who are regarded as the two most famous Green Lantern incarnations, will instill an element of diversity, according to Screen Rant. With the introduction of multiple iterations of the Justice League member in "Green Lantern Corps," the upcoming DC picture is assumed to be a lot more different than 2011's "Green Lantern," which starred "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds.
By the time of its release, "Green Lantern Corps" will have been part of as stable DC Cinematic Universe. Given its release date, there is a chance for fans to meet Jordan and Stewart in other DC films, such as James Wan's "Aquaman," Seth Grahame-Smith's "The Flash," or Zack Snyder's "Justice League Part 1."
At this point, not much information is known about "Green Lantern Corps," as well as how DC will use the Justice League member in its Cinematic Universe. Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to feature the clashing superheroes, along with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg; however, there is no information indicating Green Lantern's appearance in the film.
DC's "Green Lantern Corps" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on June 19, 2020 while Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on Mar. 25, 2016.
