Pokémon Z, Pokémon GO Release Update: Will Sceptile, Electrode & Farfetch’d Join Zygarde & Company In New Pokémon Game Series?

Pokémon (ポケモン Pokemon?, /ˈpoʊkeɪmɒn/ poh-kay-mon) is a media franchise owned by The Pokémon Company,[3] and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995.

Rumors have it that the dominant character in both the Pokémon Z and GO release date is Zygarde, and will be supported by Pokémon X and Y legends Xerneas and Yveltal. However, it is likely that the upcoming titles will also introduce three more familiar figures namely Sceptile, Electrode and Farfetch'd, a new report said.

Geek Snack reported that Pokémons Sceptile, Electrode and Farfetch'd  first appeared in the Ruby and Sapphire series and trio will be part of the new character add-ons for the Japanese arcade game Pokken Tournament, which is similar to the Super Smash Bros. 4 platform.

The same report indicated that the Pokémon will soon debut on Nintendo's Wii U game console as Pokken Tournament will migrate to the platform anytime in 2016. This signals that Pokémons Sceptile, Electrode and Farfetch'd will soon become playable on Wii U and therefore are technically available as additional characters for the Pokémon Z and GO.

Geek Snack said that the target release date of Pokken Tournament with the three Pokémons on board is second quarter of 2016 or months after the rumored February debut of the Pokémon Z and GO. There was no mention in the report, however, if The Pokémon Company and Nintendo are working on the possibility of eventually making Sceptile, Electrode and Farfetch'd part of the latest in the popular game franchise.

But even in the absence of any word from the two game creators, the three joining Z and GO cannot be discounted.

Meanwhile, Pokémon fans are watching out for the December 15 issue of Japanese manga CoroCoro that reports said will publish details that could reveal features, release date and other key information about the upcoming game titles.

Nothing much is known for now except Zygarde's five different forms and the Pokémon GO's supposedly augmented reality features that will be optimally supported by Nintendo's Pokémon GO Plus device. The CoroCoro magazine coming out next week could finally clear out if there is a chance that Pokémon Z and GO release date will happen as early as December 2015 or fans will have to wait until February 2016.
