Super Mario Maker's Mercedes-Benz SUV Costume

Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has rolled out new content for the Nintendo Wii U game Super Mario Maker, which features the famous character driving in a SUV. The German automaker has created an Event Course that includes a special costume that can be unlocked for free. Its course's name will be Mercedes-Benz Jump'nDrive, and will show Mario sitting behind the vehicle's steering wheel.

Players of the Nintendo game can unlock the special costume after completing a certain level. The Mercedes GLA-Class SUV will be included in the Mystery Mushroom costumes.

Mercedes-Benz's new course starts in a car dealership. Gamers can then take a test drive throughout the city, and later speed down a German autobahn, according to PC Mag.

Scott Moffitt is Nintendo of America's Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He explained that Super Mario Maker continues to grow by expanding and evolving, such as through the German automaker's new courses.

Meanwhile, Nintendo shared in an official statement that the German car builder and video game giant have many things in common. For example, they both inspire their fans.

Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with Nintendo in the past. The GLA SUV is also one of Mario Kart 8's free downloadable vehicles, according to Ubergizmo.

Super Mario Maker allows players to add items such as blocks, items, and enemies from various games in the Super Mario Bros. series, and then share their original levels. The game was released during September of this year, but the original release was early 2015 as part of the 30th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
