Super Smash Bros 4 News: Update Will Bring About A Balanced Gameplay For Players, Introduce Cloud Strife And More

Nintendo has finally released the date for the final Nintendo Direct for 2015. This Dec. 15, fans should tune into the Nintendo Direct, as it will be a special broadcast tailored for fans of "Super Smash Bros."

As promised, the Japanese company will be giving more details for the newest known fighter for the franchise, Cloud Strife of "Final Fantasy VII." Nintendo also announced via its official website the details of the Nintendo Direct, which will happen at 2:00 p.m. PT. Game Creator Masahiro Sakurai will be spearheading the broadcast

Cloud has been announced as an upcoming playable character for "Super Smash Bros." When he was first revealed as a character, fans were treated to a gameplay trailer, which already feature Cloud in the "Super Smash Bros." world. However, until now, Nintendo has yet to give any details on Cloud's capabilities and even the release date on when he will join the game.

"Super Smash Bros" has seen a lot of additional characters and stages. It has been following the footsteps of other well-known games where the developer has provided more support post-launch to add more content to the game.

With Nintendo's adoption of post-launch DLCs, it appears that "Super Smash Bros" has seen the kind of success that the company needs, Engadget reported. While the source hints that it is possible that "Super Smash Bros" may be seeing an end to added characters and updates, Cloud may not be the last of them.

Earlier this year, Nintendo has released the Smash Fighter Ballot, which took a poll for fans to see the character they wanted the most to join the "Super Smash Bros" roster. Even with Cloud announced as a new fighter, previous speculations have pointed to the possibility that Cloud may actually not be the winner of the Smash Fighter Ballot. This could mean that another character is expected, though Nintendo has yet to confirm this.
