The Elder Scrolls is a series of action role-playing open world fantasy video games primarily developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

Xbox One and Xbox 360 players can get some serious discounts and a free play for this week's Xbox Live Deals with Gold.

Major Nelson has recently announced via his official blog the newest lineup of titles that gamers can avail of at discounts of as much as 80 percent. This time, "Battlefield" fans can enjoy the big discounts, as a lot of the Xbox One titles offered are iterations of "Battlefield" titles and a few choice editions.

"Battlefield 4" Premium has the highest discount at 60 percent. The rest are half the price, including the likes of "Battlefield 4," "Battlefield" Bundle and the "Battlefield Hardline" Deluxe, Standard and Ultimate editions.

DLCs are also offered at half the price, including vehicle shortcut kits for "Battlefield 4," as well as Soldier, Ultimate and Weapon shortcut bundles. Apart from the "Battlefield" offers, there is also the "Killer Instinct' add-on Sadira, which is discounted at 80 percent.

Similarly, Xbox 360 players can also enjoy a smattering of "Battlefield" games. However, there are other choices to choose from, and the titles outside of DICE's shooter title is longer than that of the Xbox One. Some of these include "Bejeweled 3," "Feeding Frenzy" the first and its sequel, "Zuma," "Peggle" and "Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare."

Similarly, those who have an Xbox Live Gold Membership can enjoy some free-play weekend. "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" is on the Free Play weekend, Xbox Wire reported. This is an ongoing event, slated to end on Dec. 13, Sunday.

As long as a player has an Xbox Live Gold membership, the player can explore the entire Tamriel, from Skyrim to Black Marsh. Multiplayer is also available, so players can ally themselves with friends to do battle with others and complete quests.

Apart from this experience, players can also stand a chance to win one million dollars or any of the prizes in #MillionReasonsToPlay, Bethesda's giveaway event. There is also an ongoing discount for the game, so those who will enjoy the game during the free play weekend can get it at a lower price and get the advantage of kicking off right where they left during this weekend's free play. The weekend's hard work will also not be lost, since any progressions, character upgrades, achievements and Gamerscore will be kept.
