The upcoming HTC One M10 release is reportedly happening in February or March next year and it will boast the unannounced Android 6.1 version of Marshmallow OS topped with HTC Sense 8.0 UI, according to a tipster.

A tweet from HTC ROM developer LlabTooFer tipped that the unannounced HTC smartphone will be codenamed Perfume. The smartphone will run with Android 6.1 OS and Sense 8.0 UI.

Although search engine giant Google has not announced the existence of Android 6.1 OS yet, it is anticipated that the company will roll out the update. Currently, Android devices are bound to receive the Android 6.0.1 version of Marshmallow operating system.

The same tipster claimed that the HTC One M10 release will most likely happen after the launch of HTC One X9. LlabTooFeR also posted that the handset will be unveiled two to three months after the One X9. It is purported that HTC will hold a spring launch to give the two handsets a reasonable gap.

HTC reportedly put a lot of effort in integrating a more reliable battery in the new smartphone to avoid the overheating issues faced by its predecessor. To further alleviate the battery problems HTC One M10 will add a wireless charging feature to the upcoming smartphone, which is beneficial for heavy users.

Moreover, the Taiwanese manufacturer improved the rear-facing shooter of the handset and loaded it with an enhanced autofocus technology.

Aside from superb battery, the HTC One M10 is rumored to pack revolutionary and never-before-seen features in a flagship smartphone such as least 5-inch screen display, but with TV-like 4K pixel resolution, microSD slot of up to 2TB, 4GB of RAM, and dual SIM support.

Meanwhile, there is no official word from HTC yet.
