Motorola's Moto X Pure, with its customizable skin and stock android, might be the favorite android phone in the coming weeks. At the same time, the Google's Nexus 6P is a well-crafted, designed phone that catches up the 2016 sales.

Both the devices comes with a 5.7-inch display, with Moto X Pure featuring IPS LCD and Nexus 6P featuring AMOLED capacitive touchscreens. Also, both the devices have same resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Digging deeper, Nexus 6P has the powerful Octa-core Snapdragon 810 while Moto X Pure is packed with Hexa-core Snapdragon 808. Nexus 6P has managed to be first device that doesn't get warm due to SD810 chipset. With a lower raw power compared to Nexus 6P, Moto X Pure slightly lacks in terms of graphical performance.

Nexus 6P has 3GB of RAM and comes with 32/64/128GB internal storage variants, while Moto X Pure features 3GB of RAM and comes with 16/32/64GB internal storage variants, along with the option of expandable memory of up to 128GB. This clearly puts Moto X Pure ahead of Nexus 6P.

With Fingerprint feature that opens and paves access to the smartphone with a mere touch, Nexus 6P clearly shadows Moto X Pure. The cameras on Moto X Pure (21MP+5MP) and Nexus 6P (16MP+8MP) work pretty well in broad day light and low light. Moto X Pure performs better than Nexus 6P in day light, while Nexus 6P performs pretty well in low light too.

In terms of battery features, Nexus 6P comes with a bigger battery capacity of 3450mAh, while Moto X Pure comes with a 3000mAh battery capacity.
